Notice: Temporary Closures at Namkanda Bay and Shadow Bay

Notice: Temporary Closures at Namkanda Bay and Shadow Bay

Hello, Namkanda Bay and Shadow Bay residents and visitors!

This is a reminder to please refrain passing the restriction lines in place at your local beaches and marsh areas.

The Indigo Blue Crab and the Black Bill Tundra Swans and Mute Swans will be using certain areas of our lovely bays during this time of the year, so as always we like to give them plenty of space and not disturb them.

Only those with permits will be allowed in restricted areas. If you are a visiting scientist or student in need of a permit, you can apply for one on the NIMS (Namkanda Institute of Marine Science), the Namkanda Bay Marine Park or Shadow Bay National Park websites. Note: Not all applicants are approved.

Note: Persons breaking the extremely obvious crab-nesting restriction lines hoping to "bump into" President Kim in the wild, will be fined and removed by authorities. Please, we all know the President visits migrating crabs from time to time, but let's all behave responsibly and just wait for him to post the absolute cutest Namjooning crab content we've ever seen.
