Actual Break Dance Fighting At SUN....

Actual Break Dance Fighting At SUN....

Well, it was only a matter of time before things got heated again at SUN.

The popular nightclub (also day) has been operating at capacity since it opened, and during the last several months their waiting lists for VIP have grown exponentially. The people are definitely outside, and they wanna be let in, to SUN.

With huge numbers flocking to the club to enjoy the unique atmosphere, food and special events, it's not a surprise that occasionally there's a conflict or two.

NKPD crowd control unit was called to SUN at 1am on Friday night.

Witnesses say a heavily attended breakdancing exhibition turned into a wild scene when two rival groups of dancers turned the club's main dance floor into something that looked like a no holds-barred Wrestlemania. Club security struggled to break up the fight and onlookers had to scatter as punches and random objects were thrown, and fighters climbed onto chairs to crash dive onto other fighters.

It was a messy, chaotic scene. But it was still really cute. Because they were all Mangs.

When asked what kicked everything off, according to witnesses this time it was a dispute over who would take the dance floor next, and accusations of favoritism and elitism were thrown about before punches.

(For the unaware, the 'OG Mang vs New Mang' rivalry is particularly intense in the Daydream Star region)

"They seemed to all be having a good time and getting along at first," said one bystander, "I don't what happened."

Another witness chimed in, "Probably New Mangs started it. What? I'm just saying...they have a complex..."

We asked one of the New Mangs, who was crawling around through the mess on the club floor trying to find one of his missing ears. "Nuh uh, it wasn't even like that, we were just taking our rightful place, they were on the floor past their time! It was our turn! OG Mangs always acting like they're better than us... Hey, I found it!!"

A member of staff who spoke with HN told us that rather than an issue with a few minutes timing, she actually suspects the tensions between the two groups simply heated up when everyone learned the rumour that the club's owner was actually present for the dance exhibition, and watching unseen from behind the dark glass of the Halo (SUN's gravity defying, engineering marvel and private, invitation-only VIP suite).

Hello Namkanda couldn't confirm the owner's presence, staff would neither confirm nor deny. However we like to shoot our shot and asked if  he'd made any statements, and one staffer told us another staffer overheard a bottle girl heard him say:

“I don't understand. I mean, it's funny that they're mad at each other. They’re the same character.”

HN cannot confirm that VP Jung said this, but we’re all having a laugh anyway.  Oh, you Mangs...

We're no stranger to covering these mascot-on-mascot aggression stories, but we're happy to report that aside from missing tails and ears, no one was injured in the incident. All participants have been fined accordingly and will pay for damages.
